Rikka is a bulky blend of Noro's signature coriedale/merino wool base combined with softest Peruvian alpaca & undyed mulberry silk, which highlights the finished fabric with touches of white like snow on the mountains of Japan. Put up in a dragon egg ball, one ball can yield a small scarf or cowl as the colors unfold across your needles/hooks. Rikka in Japanese translates roughly to "snow crystal as beautiful as a flower in winter".
